I am a personal Business and executive Fitness & Certified life coach, based in Calgary/Alberta. I have been coaching individual and corporate clients for 18 years as well as training people on nutrition and wellness. I have participated as an expert Fitness & life coach on television and radio programmes, as well as written pieces for popular magazines, the business and trade press. I have a over 20 certifications and 16 years of experience in individual and organizational change and development.

My training and background in this field have led me to believe that effective fitness & coaching go hand in hand and need to take into account the whole person and their life in context, not just focus on isolated behaviors. The way I see it, successful coaching means helping people to understand themselves better, to sort out what's worrying them or holding them back, to identify ways forward with clarity and confidence and to remove real (or perceived) barriers to progress.

Nation Wide Fitness Telephone Consulting services .

Although working with a personal trainer is certainly a step in the right direction ,you cant always use the trainer you want where you want. Most Fitness/gym facilities Don't allow independent trainers to use or train you at the gym YOU belong to. We have overcome this with a brand new approach to telephone coaching and using email, pictures, programs written out for you and video clips. When it comes to improving your level of health, or that of your employees, you first have to ask yourself if you need to work with a trainer, or if it is possible given the circumstances of your life. Every single person can benefit from the expertise of a personal trainer /motivational coach who knows his or her industry, even other personal trainers! However, for some people that benefit will come in the form of on-going training over weeks, months or years, and for some people, it will just be a one-time chat to discuss their situation and their options.

For some, a daily or weekly workout program administered by a professional is the only thing that is going to assist them. They just won't make it there themselves.  Perhaps they need the one-on-one guidance or instruction that a personal trainer provides, or perhaps they lack the motivation to workout as often or as intensely as they need to. Perhaps they don't know their way around the gym, or they need a trainer to bring equipment to their home. The need for personal trainers will never go away, but that doesn't mean that people can't benefit from a more general learning opportunity with a personal trainer.

  • Do all personal trainers charge the same rate?
  • Can I work out at a gym with my trainer, or should we work out at home?
  • If my life is very hectic and scheduling is a problems, what are my options for working with a trainer, or working out on my own?

Despite the flood of information that is available regarding exercising, eating right, and generally engaging in a healthy lifestyle, a lot of people are understandably unable to wade through the media message to determine what they should really be doing - or NOT doing. Not only this but knowing what to do and doing it are 2 different thing. For those people, Fitness Consulting is a great way for them to get the truth from someone that lives the

3) Easy to use nutrition program that will help to keep you on track with your caloric requirements each day. You will receive the program via download it from a special URL that you will be given. or mailed to you on a CD during your initial consultation,

4) Flexibility Exercises. During your fitness consultation, you will receive a  booklet with all of the flexibility exercises that you will need during your training program, or you will be able to download a .pdf version of the booklet. You do not have to DO all pages everyday, but the stretches are broken down into individual body parts for you to stretch the areas that need it the most. The booklet includes a graphic of the stretch actually being done, as well as instructions on how to perform each movement.

5) Supplementation Advice. There are many different nutritional supplements on the market today, and it can be difficult to decide which supplements you need, if any. Based on your fitness goal, you will be advised on which supplements should be a part of your program, as well as told where to get the highest quality products

6) Discounted Follow-up Consultation. If at any point during your training program you feel like you aren't getting the results that you are after, we will come out and do a follow-up consultation with you at a discounted price. During that time we can discuss whatever issues you have questions about, we can go over actual exercises that you are having trouble with, we can discuss intensity, nutrition, cardio - whatever it is that you think you may need some additional help with. Also, we will get a detailed view of what you have been doing since your initial consultation and use that information to tweak your program for maximum performance.
